Friday, December 15th, 2023 – Maple Park United Methodist Church in Chicago had an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party. It was sponsored by First Lady LaShunda Mitchell and the United Women in Faith. It was wonderful! There were over 65 people in attendance. We played board games and card games. We had delicious food and a Grinch Punch. The Ugly Sweater Contest was so much fun! People were very creative in decorating their sweaters. The winner won a very nice prize. Pastor Michael Mitchell, Sr., and First Lady LaShunda Mitchell dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus. What a fun time we had!
